Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What do Wedding Coordinators do?

Wedding coordinators (also called planners or consultants) can offer a wide variety of services from complete event planning to wedding day coordination alone. The responsibilities cared for can also include offering suggestions and creative solutions to the many problems you may face during the planning process. Another aspect of a coordinator’s duties involves helping you stay within your budget without sacrificing the vision of your perfect wedding day. Our objective is to help you create and coordinate the wedding you have been dreaming about.

Q. How much to Wedding Coordinators charge?

A. The price you contract for may depend on where you are having your wedding, the extent of the services required, and the size of your wedding. Most coordinators offer varying levels of service, so you can choose just how much help you will need. For most couples, a coordinator may seem like a luxury for which they haven’t even thought about adding to their budget. However, those on a restricted budget may need a coordinator more than anyone else! A good coordinator can save you money by helping you to stick to your budget, plus ensuring that you get the best service for the best price.

Q. Why do people need a Wedding Coordinator?

A. Generally, a couple will know what they want and how much they can spend but may not know where to start. In addition, searching for reputable vendors takes a great deal of time that many busy couples can’t afford to waste. The biggest advantage of hiring a coordinator is that they do all the work for you. A coordinator will help you plan your wedding from start to finish. They will negotiate with vendors, schedule appointments and review contracts. Organizing a wedding is a challenge. The amount of time involved in coordinating a successful event can be exhausting. More than anything else, a coordinator will save you time, money, and a great deal of stress.

Q. My venue has an on-site coordinator. Why would I need more help?

A. We are more than happy to work with on-site coordinators since they can be very helpful with information regarding your particular venue. However, the site coordinator often only oversees the set-up. Their obligation is only to the venue; often they offer little or no help for the countless other intricacies regarding the florist, minister, caterer, musicians, and other many vendors that make up a wedding. A personal wedding coordinator is loyal to you and will have a more detailed understanding of your plans and be better equipped to handle any last-minute details from beginning to end.
